Adams joins KAWO/KXLT

Peak has hired Lisa Adams to helm KXLT/107.9 Lite FM and KAWO/Wow Country 104.3. More on this later – find the Peak news release after the jump

Boise, ID. – October 5, 2009 – Peak Broadcasting of Idaho announced the appointment of Lisa Adams to the position of Program
Director for KAWO-FM (WOW Country 104.3), KXLT-FM (Lite-FM 107.9), and their associated on line platforms.
(www.liteonline.com and www.wow1043.com). In addition to her programming responsibilities, Ms. Adams will assume a live and
local on air position, guide each station marketing efforts, and expand the on line offerings of each brand. Lisa was the program
director of CBS owned KXJM in Portland Oregon, where she was responsible for the planning, development and execution of
station on-air programming, promotion initiatives, website content, air talent, and production. She also held programming positions
at KQMV and KRQI in Seattle. This appointment will be effective immediately.
In making the announcement, Kevin Godwin, SVP/Market Manager of Peak Broadcasting/Boise noted “Lisa will join an already
strong local programming team of experienced major market executives assembled to create a high quality listening experience
for listeners and advertisers throughout the Treasure Valley.” “She is an enthusiastic, committed, resourceful, and dependable
individual who excels in challenging and competitive environments.” “Lisa’s experience, passion, and proven abilities, will allow
both Lite-FM and WOW Country to realize their full potential.”
Reacting to the announcement, Lisa said; “I’m truly blessed to be able to continue to grow my career at Peak Broadcasting with
such an amazing team and incredible brands. Here’s to a great future!””
A West Coast native, Lisa graduated from Portland State University with a BA in Communications. She will relocate to Boise
effective immediately.

    Welcome to Boise, Lisa… :)

    So, I'm thinking Mix is going to get “the Movin' makeover” while Lite is going to simulcast the 580 KIDO leaving the 630 KIDO to some new and improved programing…again…Maybe Classic Country again? No?
