They must not get out much... I could come up with about 100 or so locally produced spots that fit the "Worst" or "Grotesque" categories. Let's start with Western Siding or the ones where they use their little kids as talent because of course, they are the most beatiful kids in the world... I'm with the others... this was JUST another "Hit Music Station T.V. plugger"

Same kind of idea but focused on one station: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8K6bbh5eszw In east Idaho I saw a few of these when I was there recently - "KID Radio 92.1/590/1240" has the same approach but with highlighting el Rushbo, Aaron Kunz, and Mike Adams.

*Shrug* To me it's just a usual radio commercial. Play some songs from the format with good hooks and then the station logo... apparently that still works in the 'diary' world. Out here no one's really sure what to do, but TV doesn't seem to be it.

At least they went out and shot on location instead of splicing in the artist videos and/or album covers. I mean, remember this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTaxZIIaCTM Seems about the same to me.

I wonder why they didn't include any men in the commercial? Could it be because the format is traditionally female oriented?
