Watch out Miley Cyrus! 99.1 eradicates the ‘irus
Don Day | January 10, 2010KQLZ/V-99.1 has dumped the Virus name from its branding. The station reworked its website, Twitter page, YouTube channel and of course the on-air sound of the station itself.
KQLZ has been on the air just a few months – and shared a name with Sirus/XM channel “The Virus,” though its unclear if this change had anything to do with the name similarity.
