Ratings: Workin’ on it…

Don Day | February 2, 2008

If you’ve watched the news…. you’ll understand why I haven’t had a chance to break down the numbers. I’ll get to that soon. In the meantime, comment away on the prior post.

Also: If you have data for me – breakdowns or demos – send them to idahoradio@gmail.com. Anonymity guaranteed.

…2,000 posts later

Don Day | January 21, 2008

This is the 2,000th post on Idaho Radio News. Yikes. This site started in late September of 2003… and like that annoying Energizer Bunny is still going.

The first item was about (shocker) a morning show change at KZMG. The item with the most impact was this – which seemed to snowball into an all out effort with more than 35 stations raising money for a single cause.

Thanks for reading, commenting and directing me to stories.

You’ve probably noticed the new-ish “tags” feature. If you click on a tag, you get bad results. I’m still working out the kinks – so for now it’s a “known issue.”

Word to the unwise

Don Day | December 8, 2007

FYI – People making their first comment on this site will not have that comment appear to the public. YOU may see your comment in the thread – but no one else does. So if you post something inane or libelous or stupid, and I don’t approve it… no one ever sees it.

“15 second” glitch

Don Day | November 27, 2007

If you’ve been getting the “Sorry, you can only post a new comment once every 15 seconds” error when you try and post a comment, I’ve fixed the issue. This was making it so multiple people inside the same orginization couldn’t comment more than once per day (for instance, only one Journal employee could leave their $0.02 per day).
